-2 "GIANTS" shot 100 yards apart from each other.
Smith Boy's drop the hammer on 2 "GIANTS"
Two cousins Andy and Terry Smith, had no problem finding room on their walls for 2 very impressive bucks, one for each of them. On November 10th at approximately 11:30am Terry arrows a 14 pointer with a 21 in spread scoring 180 5/8 on their rural Fennimore family farm. With much talk of the buck being one of the areas largest every shot, there is no doubt the Smith boy's were not prepared for what was going to happen on the farm next. Cousin Andy goes out on the WI gun deer opener November 19th at approximately 1:30pm, and shoots a 16 pointer with an 18 1/2 inch spread and scored and impressive 189 6/8. What is almost as impressive as the 2 monster bucks is they were shot within 100 yards of each other. Several years of hard work and dedication to managing the property pays off HUGE! Take a look at the pictutres below and the before and after pictures in our trophy room to see what quality management can do for the diehard trophy hunter.

2011 Stitzer Sportsman's Club cancer benefit
This year in 2011 we decided to have one shoot that benefits the cancer foundations in Grant County. The cancer benefit shoot was Sept. 10th and 11th. Half of ALL proceeds from this shoot went to the local Grant County Cancer Coalition. If cancer has touched your life in one way or another then you know how important these organizations are to the communities. Thanks to your efforts and generosity during our September shoot, the Stitzer Sportsman's Club was able to raise $1291.00 for the Grant County Cancer Coalition. We would like to thank all who attended and all who support this great cause. Pictured below is SSC President Pete Obrien (middle) and Vice President Andy Taylor (left), presenting Nancy Jerrett (right)of the Grant County Cancer Coalition with a check for $1291.00. a huge thank you once again for all who supported this great cause.
Course Rules
Our score is based on the honor system. We trust that shooters will be truthful and honest when recording their score. Your arrow must be touching the line in order to count the higher score. While shooting our course we ask that you donot use rangefinders. We also strictly prohibit the use of binoculars, even in the Elite class (NO EXCEPTIONS). Please limit your group to 4 shooters per group. This will ensure smooth shooting without backups along the way. If you have faster shooters waiting please be courtious and let them shoot through. If we all follow these simple rules everyone should have a great time shooting with us.
Menu
After shooting or while taking a break after the first half of the course, shooters can enjoy a refreshing drink or bite to eat. We serve freshly grilled brats, barbeque, hotdogs, chips and candy bars. We also serve cold beer, soda and water. Please, no beer on the course and no carry ins.
Targets
We have 100% Rinehart targets. These targets range from deer to elk targets with a few bear and other North American animals to shoot at. Rinehart targets make pulling arrows easy.
Awards/Trophies
We give our shooters the option of recieving money or a trophy for those who place 1st or 2nd in class A, B or C. Simply mark on the sign up sheet what you would like. All shooters in the Cubs division will recieve a prize.

Practice Area
Our practice area has bag targets ranging from 10 to 40 yards for you to practice a little before shooting the course. Although we DONOT allow broadheads on the course, we do have 2 sand pits for you to sight in with broadheads for the upcoming hunting season.
