The Stitzer Sportsman's Club has 2 different memberships to choose from.

Single/Family Working              $20.00 Yearly
Single/Family Non-working       $30.00 Yearly

Memberships run from January 1st to December 31st of each year.  As a paid member you will recieve the combination to the gate which is for CLUB MEMBERS ONLY.  As a paid member you will have complete access to the club grounds.  Members also have the access to shooting in our summer league beginning in May.  You are not required to be a working member to shoot in the summer league.  Once you are a paid member you will recieve a membership card with the combination to the gate and a copy of the rules and regulations.

Working members are required to work a minimum of 4 hours of work throughout the year.  Working members can work their 4 hours at shoots, work details or mowing grass.  Working members who donot work their 4 hours will be required to pay and additional $10.00 prior to obtaining a membership the following year.  Non-working members are not required to work 4 hours during the year.

A family membership includes all members of your family living in your household and includes children who are under the age of 18.  Children over the age of 18 are required to have a separate membership.

Work details are scheduled in the spring and in the fall.  During the spring we put out our McKenzie League targets and get the course ready for the summer.  During the fall detail we put targets away and clean up the trails and clubhouse.  During both details the club provides a lunch on the deck of the clubhouse.

The Club holds meetings three times a year in the spring, fall and winter. Our winter meeting is held during our anual party where we hold the election of officers for the new upcoming year.  This is generaly a good time as well as a great opportunity for club members to get together and share hunting success stories as well as pictures from game cameras and successful hunts.

Being a member of the Stitzer Sportsman's Club is a great opportunity for the entire family to sharpen their skills and gain some new friendships.  The posibilities are endless.  To contact us about becoming a new member just go to the "contact us" page, fill out the form and click submit.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Stitzer Sportsman's Club

To show appreciation to working clubmembers who went above and beyond the requirements of being a working member, the club organized an outting for these members to go to a shoot all expeses paid by the club.  The 2014 shoot took us to Echo Valley Archers in West Union, IA for a fun day of shooting and relaxing for all who attended.  If you have never been to an EVA indoor shoot, we can tell you it is like no other and is absolutely awesome.  Another big THANK YOU goes out to all of these members who show their dedication to the club.
